This is a simple recipe for a great appetizer for you and your guest.  Cream Cheese, Smoked Salmon, sea salt, olive oil, dried chives (optional) and Calabrian Chili Paste (optional) is all it takes to make this.

Ingredients

1 Block Cream Cheese
1 pkg (8 or 12 oz) smoked Salmon
1/8 tsp sea salt
1 tsp olive oil
1 Tbsp dried chives (optional)
1 tsp Calabrian Chili paste (optional)

In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, smoked salmon, dried chives.  Add in salt, mix, then add the olive oil.

Add the Calabrian chili paste a little at a time.  Mix well and taste.  Depending how hot you want the spread will determine how much of the paste you put in.   A little goes a long way.

Serve with Ritz crackers of the crackers of your choice.  This spread also goes well on bagels and toast.
